Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Orange County. This position focuses on providing essential pharmacy services that ensure safe and accurate medication handling and delivery for patients requiring specialized infusion therapies.

Contract, 13 weeks with potential to convert to temp-to-hire
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime shifts
Responsibilities:
Accurately input patient demographics and insurance details, process prescription labels, refill medications, and submit billing claims and authorization requests. Label and package injectable medications, oral/topical medications, and ancillary supplies according to patient orders. Prepare and track shipping documentation, coordinate medication shipments, and confirm delivery with patients. Reconcile medication shipments against packing slips, receive, and unpack medications. Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of the IV room, compliant with USP standards and company protocols. Deliver excellent customer service through verbal, written, and in-person communication. Support the pharmacy's 340B program integrity and other duties as required to ensure smooth pharmacy operations. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid California Pharmacy Technician license. Minimum of 1 year experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings. Hands-on experience with intravenous (IV) medications and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with safety standards. Local candidates preferred for immediate start.
