Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately following prescriptions. Maintain detailed records through precise data entry into pharmacy software systems, ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulatory standards. Assist with medication inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and proper storage to ensure medication safety and availability. Support patient service initiatives by providing clear medication instructions, answering patient inquiries professionally, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and medical terminology standards during daily operations. Perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately for dosage compounding and medication administration in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication intake processes and support critical care or acute care needs within hospital or community pharmacy environments. Experience Prior pharmacy technician experience in hospital or community pharmacy settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, drug regulation laws, and medical terminology. Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry, medication tracking, and inventory management. Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality while managing sensitive medical information in accordance with state healthcare regulations.
