As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacists in medication preparation, dispensing, and patient education while maintaining strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through precise medication management and efficient pharmacy operations. Duties Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, including preparing and labeling prescriptions accurately using pharmacy software systems Enter data meticulously into pharmacy management systems while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, including drug regulation laws Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and verifying expiration dates to ensure medication safety and availability Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, and pharmacological medical terminology Experience with pharmacy software systems and data entry accuracy in fast-paced settings Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, and drug regulation laws.
