Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily pharmacy operations while helping ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in aseptic techniques, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in both acute and critical care settings. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. Fluency in Farsi and/or Spanish is required to effectively serve our diverse patient population. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles. Provide patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals. Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to pharmacy practice. Qualifications Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not mandatory. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
