- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Process prescriptions accurately and timely
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering incoming calls, assisting patients at the counter, and addressing inquiries with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding medication dispensing and handling
- Delivery to home or office and other duties as required
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related role preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with pharmacy operations
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment
