Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bilingual Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and medication management. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacy operations, and patient service. The Pharmacy Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Process medication orders and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications. Support medication administration for patients, including inhalation therapies and IV infusion preparations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care in acute care settings such as hospitals. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and assist in the management of patient profiles. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices is highly desirable. Experience in acute care or hospital settings is an advantage. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
