JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to provide assistance to the Director of Pharmacy Services by aiding with developing, organizing, and implementing programs, policies and procedures necessary to manage and control all pharmacy technician services, and assure quality distributive pharmacy services at both Hospitals. Responsible for coordinating the annual drug inventories at both Hospitals. Responsible for the inventory control system of department supplies and pharmaceutical purchases. Responsible for fulfilling all staff duties when working in the work schedule. May be scheduled as a technician up to 80% of the time. Actions of the Technician Supervisor are subject to the approval of the Director of Pharmacy Services and compliance with Hospital policies and procedures, JCAHO standards, and applicable State and Federal civil codes, and various State and Federal regulatory agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent Previous drug inventory control/purchasing experience preferred; at least 3 years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician Knowledge of medical terminology, drug nomenclature and basic mathematics Previous supervisory experience Licensed to practice within the State of California Excellent computer skills Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to work well and efficiently with other staff members Valid California Driver's License Ability to lift 25 pounds

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $42.24 - $54.60 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
