In this position, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Since we are a newly opened store, you will have the opportunity to provide your input in improving the pharmacy and share your comments and opinions. Your dedication will help improve health outcomes while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and check out customers Manage medication inventory, perform data entry into pharmacy software systems, and ensure accurate pharmaceutical calculations for prescriptions. Support patient service activities such as medication intake, patient care coordination, and answering medication-related questions with professionalism and empathy. Maintain strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation guidelines, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards. Ensure proper documentation of medication dispensing Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support acute care initiatives and ensure seamless medication management across diverse clinical environments. Qualifications
MUST SPEAK
fluent Cantonese (required) and Mandarin (preferred) Prior pharmacy technician experience in independent pharmacy setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacological medical terminology, and pharmaceutical calculations. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is desirable; must comply with state healthcare regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain professionalism under pressure. Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws related to drug regulation and patient safety practices.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
