Pharmacy Technician II Location:

San Francisco, CA Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician II to join a growing specialty pharmacy environment. In this role, you will work with complex therapies and support the delivery of medications to patients, while collaborating closely with pharmacists, patients, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Communicate with patients, prescribers, and internal teams via phone, email, and fax Process prescription orders, refills, and documentation under pharmacist supervision Assist with packaging and shipment of medications Manage copay processing and research financial assistance options Maintain inventory, storage, and proper documentation (labels, logs, reports) Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and procedures Participate in on-call rotation as needed Required Qualifications Active California Pharmacy Technician License Minimum 6 months of pharmacy technician experience Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) Experience in specialty, retail, or mail-order pharmacy Experience with sterile compounding or IV admixtures Education Requirements Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Pacific Time) #

NonVax Pay:

$18.00 - $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Required) prescription processing, order entry, or refill workflows: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

California Pharmacy Technician license (Required) PTCB license (Preferred)
