Pharmacy Tech II Address:

San Francisco, CA Job Description Communicate with patients, prescribers, and colleagues via phone, email, and fax. Fulfill prescriptions, package medications for shipment, process copays, and research financial assistance. Complete order entry and refills under pharmacist supervision. Manage inventory, label products, and maintain documentation such as log sheets and reports. Participate in on-call rotations based on staffing needs. Prepare and compound sterile products, maintaining clean room standards per 797 requirements. Document IV admixture procedures and sterility testing. Critical Information Monday through Friday, varying shifts between 8AM and 6PM Pacific time. Onsite role, with requirements to be onsite as needed. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. Work with specialized and complex therapies in a healthcare setting. Education/Licenses Needed High School diploma or GED (verify with recruiter). Pharmacy technician certification (national certification preferred) and eligible for state registration or licensure. At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, including 1 year experience in compounding IV admixtures. Basic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
