Ocean park Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, licensed pharmacy technician ,Seeking a motivated and dependable Pharmacy Technician with a positive attitude who is able to multi-task and work well within the team to join our retail pharmacy.

Job Duties:

Process prescriptions and prepare/dispense medications Excellent customer service skills work well with others and work quickly yet accurately. Current Valid Pharmacy Technicians License required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy Strong knowledge of current pharmacy practices and guidelines. Familiarity with brand-name medications and their generic equivalents. Great attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team Duties include assisting customers, billing, answering phone calls, merchandising products, checking in orders, home deliveries as well as other duties as required. Manage pharmacy inventory Communicate effectively with patients and contact prescribers for refill authorizations Answer phones, handle cashiering and customer service Schedule patient deliveries, perform inventory checks, maintain a clean and organized pharmacy

Requirements:

Active California Pharmacy Technician License (registered with the CA State Board of Pharmacy) — Required PTCB Certification —

Required Preferred:

Spanish language proficiency

Pay:

$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
