Header Duties Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including sterile IV infusion compounding and aseptic technique procedures to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and verifying stock levels to maintain optimal supply for patient care needs Accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations for medication dosages and conversions following state and federal pharmacy laws Enter prescription data into pharmacy software systems with precision while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data entry protocols Support clinical pharmacy services by understanding pharmacological terminology and assisting with medication therapy management in acute care or community settings Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards by following drug regulation guidelines and maintaining documentation for audits Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting patient care initiatives across hospital or community pharmacies Header Skills Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician with LTC pharmacy experience or hospital pharmacy background preferred Critical care experience or clinical pharmacy experience highly desirable Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, medical terminology, and sterile IV admixture procedures Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for data entry, prescription processing, and inventory management Ability to perform IV compounding using aseptic techniques while maintaining sterile environment standards Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and intake processes in diverse healthcare settings Knowledge of state healthcare regulations, drug laws, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards Competence in handling pharmaceutical calculations accurately and efficiently under pressure Experience with hospital or community pharmacy environments is advantageous Basic life support certification is preferred to support emergency response efforts This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to impactful healthcare delivery while advancing their professional skills.
