Job Description

We have been contracted by Watsonville/Aptos Adult School to recruit an instructor for their Pharmacy Technician class. They are seeking an experienced pharmacy professional with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience to teach this course. All curriculum and instructional materials will be provided. Class schedule is attached for reference.

Schedule:
September 1, 2026 - October 27, 2026 Tuesday/Thursday | 5:30pm - 8:30pm Instructor Responsibilities Deliver instruction using approved curriculum and materials Evaluate student performance and track attendance and grades in accordance with program policies Maintain regular communication with students regarding their progress Apply effective teaching strategies and continuously seek ways to enhance student learning Incorporate real-world experience into engaging classroom instruction Facilitate hands-on learning and promote student success Instructor Requirements Minimum of 7 years of pharmacy work experience Current, verifiable license or registry valid in the state of the campus location Ability to teach from a standardized curriculum Experience with IV preparation and compounding strongly preferred Comfortable teaching basic pharmaceutical math Prior teaching or training experience highly desired This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced pharmacy professional who is passionate about education and developing the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians.
