$40-$50/hour, based on qualifications Job Summary We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare patient-specific sterile compounded medications using aseptic technique and established procedures. The role supports sterile compounding, cleanroom operations, documentation, inventory, cleaning, and quality activities under the supervision of the PIC and Compounding Pharmacist. The pharmacy handles both sterile and non-sterile compounding, including non-antineoplastic, non-chemotherapy hazardous drug preparations. Key Responsibilities Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision. Perform aseptic manipulations in primary engineering controls. Follow proper hand hygiene, garbing, cleaning, disinfection, and material-transfer procedures. Perform hazardous-drug deactivation, decontamination, and cleaning. Accurately document ingredients, lot numbers, quantities, calculations, equipment, times, and quality checks Label, stage, and transfer completed preparations for pharmacist verification. Inspect ingredients and supplies for integrity, expiration, and suitability. Complete required sterile-compounding competency assessments and training. Report deviations, spills, contamination concerns, exposure events, and equipment issues. Maintain inventory and communicate supply needs. Assist with inspection readiness and other duties assigned by the PIC. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Colorado pharmacy technician registration or ability to obtain required registration. At least 1 year of sterile compounding or cleanroom experience. Strong attention to detail and accurate calculation/documentation skills. Ability to follow detailed SOPs and established procedures. Ability to safely work with hazardous drugs and required PPE. Preferred Experience Experience with sterile and/or non-sterile compounding. Experience with peptides or GLP-1 medications is a plus. Experience with
