- Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician II performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution. Unlock your potential here!
- Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician II with us:
- + •You will do non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets,•+ •You will prepare unit dose drug•+ •You will be delivering medications to patient care areas•+ •You will check medication storage areas for outdated•+ •You will need to complete billing duties•+ •You may work in an IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
- Qualifications you will need for this role:
- + •A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA)- issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
- + •If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, must achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire date.
- + •High school diploma•+ •Two years' experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
