As an LTC Cycle Pharmacy Technician at Good Day Pharmacy, you'll be part of a fast-paced Cycle Team responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and delivering medications to the long-term care communities who depend on us. You'll work hands-on with automated packaging technology (DOSIS), collaborate closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians, and play a direct role in resident safety every single shift. No two days look exactly alike, but every day, your accuracy and attention to detail make a real difference for the patients we serve. What You'll Do Fill cycle medications accurately based on prescription directions, facility requirements, and cycle schedules Read and interpret prescription labels, SIGs, NDCs, and fill/pull lists with a sharp eye for detail Operate the DOSIS automated packaging system, including loading canisters, troubleshooting errors, and keeping workflow moving Catch and resolve discrepancies including shortages, incorrect NDCs, rejected claims, and other issues, escalating to a pharmacist or lead technician when needed Use QS1 and other pharmacy systems to manage prescriptions and support cycle processing Prepare and organize completed medications for pharmacist verification Support daily fill work, including pulling, scanning, and labeling bulk and blister-pack prescriptions Prepare medications for delivery by verifying manifests, sorting by facility or patient, and identifying medications requiring refrigeration or special handling Communicate proactively with pharmacists, technicians, and delivery staff to keep the entire team ahead of issues Jump in wherever the team needs support because this is a true team-based workflow What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent Active Pharmacy Technician registration, license, or certification as required by the state of Colorado, or the ability to obtain required credentials Comfort learning new software and pharmacy-specific technology Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail — you catch the small things before they become big problems The ability to stay accurate and steady even when the pace picks up A team-first attitude: reliable, accountable, and willing to help wherever needed Experience with QS1, DOSIS, or LTC pharmacy workflows is a plus, but we'll train the right person.
