Job Description

Pharmacy Technician — Family-Owned Independent Pharmacy Jewett City Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, dependable pharmacy technician to join our team. We are a family-owned independent pharmacy that takes pride in caring for our community and building real relationships with our patients. We are looking for someone who is warm, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. This position includes helping with prescription processing, answering phones, assisting customers, managing inventory, supporting the pharmacist, and helping keep the pharmacy organized and running smoothly. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. We offer a supportive work environment, competitive pay, good benefits, and the opportunity to be part of a growing local pharmacy team. Availability for some nights and weekends is required.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner Answering phones and helping with customer questions Entering and processing prescriptions Supporting the pharmacist and pharmacy workflow Helping manage inventory and stock Maintaining a clean and organized work area Providing excellent service to our local community Ideal candidate: Friendly, dependable, and professional Strong attention to detail Comfortable working with patients and coworkers Able to multitask in a busy environment Willing to learn and grow with the pharmacy Pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
