Job Overview Pioneer Health Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our team in a unique cross-trained role. This position offers the opportunity to work in both our compounding laboratory and our patient support area, making every day different while developing a wide range of skills. No prior pharmacy experience is required, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do As a Cross-Trained Pharmacy Technician & Lab Technician, you'll rotate between our pharmacy laboratory and customer support areas, assisting with a variety of responsibilities including: Lab Technician Tasks Assist Lab Manager with preparing customized compounded medications, including: Creams, Ointments, Capsules, Suspensions, Troches, Suppositories, and Other specialty formulations Prepare and organize materials used in the compounding lab Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory Follow pharmacy procedures and quality standards Pharmacy Technician Tasks Process prescriptions for pharmacist review Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly Able to accurately enter data with strong attention to detail Welcome and assist patients visiting the pharmacy Provide exceptional customer service We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly and professional Reliable and dependable Organized with strong attention to detail Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning new skills Interested in health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine A team player with a positive attitude Experience No previous pharmacy experience required All training is provided on the job. Pharmacy Technician registration (or willingness to obtain one if required) is a plus.
