Advanced Providers Role Scope We have a growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice RN (APRN) who will enjoy:- Unique, 1:1 training with neurosurgeons
- Growth and development- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program including the use of High Intensity Focus Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment for movement disorders
- Both clinic and OR time ( 1st Assist) for cranial and spine procedures
- Working with a team of advanced practitioners with an abundance of Neurosurgery experience
- Established practice and staff who take time with their patients Shift - Full Time four 10-hour shifts, M-F.

- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred.
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut.
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification required for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Preferred >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or an Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred
