Job Description
Position Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the Pharmacist by performing a variety of pharmacy-related duties in accordance with applicable State, Federal and Seminole Tribe of Florida's Health Department guidelines. The individual performs prescription order entry; prepares and labels medicines; prepares medication boxes for pharmacist verification; communicates with both internal and external healthcare providers, maintains inventory control and pharmacy records as required by law, and stores drugs and supplies per industry guidelines..Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a pharmacy or similarly related environment is required. Current and active State of Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration is required. Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred. Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrate proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.Job Type:
