Job Overview:

We are seeking a Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to our patients. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for pharmacy and patient service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medication to patients accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and package medications for distribution
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Perform medication administration tasks, including inhalation medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication therapy
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in an independent pharmacy or chain is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with various medications preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is preferred however not a requirement.
