Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IV infusion, aseptic technique, medication administration, acute care, and patient care in a hospital or pharmacy setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient service is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist in filling and labeling prescriptions
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
• Ensure medication storage and security measures are in place
• Process customer transactions at the pharmacy counter
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Support pharmacological services by assembling medications for prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Proficiency in IV infusion, aseptic technique, and medication administration
• Experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
