In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and providing exceptional service to patients across diverse healthcare settings. Your dedication will help streamline pharmacy operations and support positive health outcomes for our community. Duties Enter prescription data into pharmacy software systems with precision, maintaining meticulous records in accordance with pharmaceutical regulations Assist pharmacists with medication reconciliation, intake, and patient consultations to support optimal medication management Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards Maintain patient confidentiality rigorously while handling sensitive health information in both hospital and community pharmacy environments Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering medications, and verifying expiration dates to prevent shortages or errors Perform pharmaceutical calculations for medication dosages, infusion rates, and compounding procedures to ensure patient safety Skills Proven experience in LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy, critical care, or hospital pharmacy environments with a focus on acute care procedures Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacological terminology, and drug regulation laws at the state and federal levels Skilled in pharmacy software systems, data entry accuracy, and medication administration protocols Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to maintain high standards of patient care while adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining strict confidentiality Join us as a Certified Pharmacy Technician to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate pharmaceutical services.
