Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate preparation of IV infusions, critical care medications, and other sterile products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities Prepare sterile compounded medications vials, following strict aseptic techniques to maintain sterility and safety. Maintain accurate documentation of medication preparation, labeling, and delivery to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support patient service initiatives by providing clear communication regarding medication instructions and addressing patient inquiries when appropriate. Ensure adherence to USP 797 for aseptic technique, infection control, and medication safety during all compounding activities. Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and medications, restocking as needed to maintain readiness for critical care needs. Qualifications Prior pharmacy technician experience with a focus on sterile compounding is highly preferred. Knowledge of category 3 compounding. Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Registration as a pharmacy technician with Florida Board of pharmacy
