Job Description

Work Shift:
Evening - 8 Hour (United States of America)Perform, under the supervision of a Pharmacist, a variety of technical duties related to the preparing and dispensing of drugs according to hospital policies and procedures and federal, state and local laws.
Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
One (1) year in retail or hospital pharmacy.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Registered Pharmacy Tech with the State of Georgia as verified by the Georgia Secretary of State's professional licensing board.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Utilizes a variety of standard office equipment to include computer, printers, labeling machine, fax machine, copier. Also utilizes IV Flow Hood.
