Full-time availability required, including weekdays and weekends Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to assist with prescription fulfillment, medication preparation, IV preparation, inventory management, and other pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and government regulations. Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications. Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations. Assist with the final prescription-checking process, including presenting medications for Pharmacist review and packaging medications after final approval. Coordinate the accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers. Maintain proper inventory practices, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing medications and supplies. Record and monitor lot numbers and expiration dates. Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory management. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy work environment. Check pharmacy equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness. Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the Pharmacist, Pharmacy Management, or Technician Supervisor. Requirements Active Hawaii Pharmacy Technician registration is required. Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Experience with prescription filling, medication preparation, or IV preparation is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and government regulations. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Strong organizational and communication skills. Schedule Candidates must be available to work the following shifts:
Monday-Friday:
10:30 AM-7:00 PM or 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Weekends (Saturday/Sunday): 9:00 AM-5:00 PM HST #
NONVAX Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Available to work closing shift Mon-Fri 10:30-7pm or 11am to 7:30pm and weekends Sat/Sun 9am -5pm
HST License/Certification:
Hawaii Pharmacy technician license (Required)
