TRIO Pharmacy Services is a closed-door pharmacy where you can focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of our long-term care and senior living clients. We service long term care and senior living communities. We offer a non-retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Triage, interpret and process orders into pharmacy computer system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
• Ensure orders are processed according to pharmacy cutoff times and within expected delivery windows
• Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations
• Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and provide empathetic care.
• May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy or healthcare related experience, 1+ years required
• Basic understanding of brand/generics, medical terminology, and computers required
• Detail oriented ; team player, customer focused service, great communication skills, and a positive attitude .
• Ability to form professional relationships with customers
• Iowa Pharmacy Technician License required .
