Manager Pharmacy Technician Internal Only Department Only Location Coeur d'Alene, ID Facility Kootenai Health Department Pharmacy - 340B Pharmacy Program Schedule/Shift/Hours Full Time - Variable Category Management Hours Per Pay Period 80 = 1.0 Req #: 47620 Apply Now Save Job Saved Manager Pharmacy Technician About the Job Works with the department director to set overall strategic plans, objectives and policies for the pharmacy. Maintains drug accountability and control processes, establishes effective controlled drug surveillance, and ensures pharmacy operations comply with state/federal law and collaborates with pharmacist leadership on quality standards. Responsibilities Works with the department director to reduce risk and promote safe medication management practice within training and experience Collaborates with pharmacist leadership on pharmacist clinical performance and quality Responsible for pharmacy technician practice and quality oversight Works with the department director to plan and execute budgeted expenditures; monitors budget performance for areas of responsibility Works with other departments and staff to ensure safe medication administration and management Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience OR 15 years' experience with intent to obtain bachelor's degree in the next 2 years required; master's degree in pharmacy administration or business administration preferred Pharmacy technician license with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy required Hired as of 6/1/2009, CPhT required 5 years' experience in pharmacy management in a hospital setting preferred About Kootenai Health Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed healthcare organization serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
