Clearwater Valley Health Pharmacy-Orofino Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, prepares, compounds, and dispenses medical orders/prescriptions.
Essential Job Functions:
Communicates effectively with customers and provide guidance for locating products or understanding services Accurately process transactions including cash, checks, and credit cards while following SMCVH policies Restock shelves, update pricing, check in vendor deliveries, and maintain inventory systems May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department May be required to assist pharmacist in retail and/or hospital pharmacy Performs a variety of tasks Typically reports to supervisor or manager Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Competent to meet age specific needs of the patients served Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times. Follows HIPAA regulations and policies. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. Communicate with co-workers in person, in writing and on telephone.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older Must have a Pharmacy Technician license with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy Must complete the Clearwater Valley and St. Mary's Health Technician in Training Program Demonstrated ability to use computer skills including keyboarding and practical data entry into data based software programs Full time, 40 hours per week CVH is EOE
