- Friday, 6:30 PM
- 3:00 AM Every other weekend, 10:30 AM
- 7:00 PM Responsibilities of the
Pharmacy Technician:
- Pick, label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist.
- Fill daily medication orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
- Process returned medications and handle recycling or disposal according to procedures.
- Prepack frequently ordered medications, apply labels, and store products as needed.
- Package medications and other materials manually.
- Pull medications from shelving and designated storage areas.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.
- Notify the pharmacist of any medications or products that do not scan properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and replenish supplies.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Comply with departmental safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the
Pharmacy Technician:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work at a moderate pace.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay Details:
