Schedule:

8:00 AM-4:30 PM; every other weekend 10:00 AM-6:30 PM Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician will support daily pharmacy operations by accurately and efficiently preparing prescription orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. Responsibilities include picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and preparing finished prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. Responsibilities Fill daily medication orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision. Pick medications from shelving, prepack racks, and other designated storage areas. Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy. Alert the pharmacist when medications or products do not scan properly. Package medications and other materials manually. Process returned medications and recycle or dispose of products according to established procedures. Prepackage frequently ordered medications, label, and store products as needed. Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish necessary supplies. Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA requirements. Follow departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code. Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Clear and active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy. Ability to work at a moderate pace in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmacy technician experience. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday. Ability to sit or stand for approximately 7-10 hours per day. Ability to work extended hours when needed. Finger dexterity to operate office and pharmacy equipment. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read fine print, distinguish colors, and adjust focus. Ability to hear normal voice sounds. Pay Details:
