Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This ongoing role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute in a dynamic pharmacy environment. The position is based in Elgin, IL, with a contract-to-hire arrangement and a 6-month initial assignment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a consistent and balanced workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with daily operations and prescription processing Perform PRS (Pharmacy Replenishment System) duties as needed Support warehouse tasks and maintain inventory accuracy Flexibly work across various pharmacy areas to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required PTCB Certification is mandatory Minimum of 2 years of solid pharmacy experience preferred for optimal success Ability to adapt to multiple roles within the pharmacy setting
Compensation:
Pay range from $23 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience: $23/hr for 1 year of experience $24/hr for 2 years of experience $25/hr for 3 or more years of experience This contract-to-hire position provides stability with the potential for long-term employment.
