Certified Pharmacy Technician We are a small town community pharmacy that is growing and we need to expand our pharmacy technician team. This is specialized role within our pharmacy that will require answering phones, assisting patient and processing claims, filling prescriptions, stocking shelves, and unit-dose filling and charting. We are a fast-paced local community pharmacy that is looking to grow our team to meet our growing business demands.

Duties:

Helps health care providers and patients by greeting by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist. Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions. Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments. Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
