Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technicians - Scott AFB, IL We are seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our team as Full Time civilian contractors supporting the personnel of Scott AFB, IL. Benefits include available insurances, paid vacation rime, paid federal holidays, paid sick leave, and weekly pay, Duties include:​​​​​​​ Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures. Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases. Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions. Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation. Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports. Perform in clinic stock fills & inspection duties including but not limited to medication management of PYXIS med-stations & Crash Carts. ​
Requirements:
Education:
Graduate from a pharmacy technician training program accredited by an accrediting body or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces. Basic Life Support -
BLS Certification Experience:
One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician after graduation.
Certification:
Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician from the PTCB.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.25 - $24.30 per hour
