Certified Pharmacy Technician PRN Quality Correctional Care - 3.2 Carmel, IN Job Details PRN 2 hours ago Qualifications Pharmacy Technician License Full Job Description About us: Quality RX is a closed-door pharmacy that proudly provides medication for the county jail setting. We are a woman-owned business located in Carmel, Indiana. We value those who are committed to our core values of Advocacy, Courtesy, Efficiency, and Safety.
Position Summary:
The pharmacy technician must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities.
Mandatory Functions:
Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations. Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate Assist pharmacist by accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory. Closely manage inventory in a cost-effective manner Recommend improved procedures, equipment, and supplies to supervisor. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Present/participate in in-service education sessions. Maintain professional attitude at all times. Any and all duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Pharmacy technician must be licensed in the state of Indiana. Closed door pharmacy experience required.
Position Details:
This is a PRN position. Pharmacy Hours are
M-F, 8AM-4PM.
