Position Summary GEMCO is seeking motivated HVAC Installer Apprentices with 1-3 years of commercial HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical construction experience to join our growing Indianapolis-area team. This is not an entry-level position for someone with no field experience. We are specifically looking for candidates who already have hands-on experience working on commercial jobsites and want to continue developing their skills in the HVAC trade. This role supports commercial installation projects throughout the Central Indiana area and allows employees to return home nightly. Candidates must live locally in or around the Indianapolis area. You will work alongside experienced Journeymen and Foremen installing commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical equipment on new construction and renovation projects. Primary Responsibilities Assist with installation of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical equipment Install hangers, supports, ductwork, roof curbs, and related HVAC components Support layout, material staging, and installation activities on commercial jobsites Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment Follow all company safety policies and jobsite requirements Communicate professionally with supervisors and teammates regarding job progress and material needs Qualifications 1-3 years of commercial HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical construction experience required Experience working on commercial construction jobsites preferred Basic understanding of ductwork, HVAC systems, or mechanical installation Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Dependable attendance and positive attitude Must live locally in the Indianapolis/Central Indiana area Valid driver's license preferred Benefits & Perks Overtime opportunities Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401(k) Career advancement opportunities Ongoing hands-on training and development Opportunity to grow into Journeyman and Foreman roles Why GEMCO? Pay:

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
