Pay Rate:
$18.23/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
Schedule:
Monday 1:00 PM-11:30 PM; Tuesday-Friday 2:00 PM-11:00 PM; Saturday 12:00 PM-8:30 PM Seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Trainees for an onsite 2nd-shift opportunity in Jeffersonville, IN. No prior pharmacy experience is required—candidates with warehouse picking, order fulfillment, inventory, or quality-focused experience are encouraged to apply. Job Summary This role supports licensed pharmacists by preparing prescription medications, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a clean, accurate, and compliant pharmacy environment. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with high quality and accuracy expectations. Job Responsibilities Prepare, count, package, and label prescription medications according to order requirements. Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells and handle bulk bottles and product cases. Conduct stock rotation and support inventory management activities. Maintain an organized, clean, and accurate dispensing area. Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements. Assist with prescription-related documentation and recordkeeping. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous picking, order fulfillment, warehouse, quality inspection, or pharmacy experience. Strong attention to detail, quality focus, accountability, and ability to stay on task. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable handling prescription medications. Ability to stand and walk throughout the full shift. Ability to lift/carry 20-30 lbs. for short distances and 15 lbs. for extended periods. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jeffersonville, IN. Licensing Requirement Must be willing and able to obtain an Indiana Pharmacy Technician-in-Training License within two weeks of the start date. Must be willing to pursue National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
