Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support pharmacy operations as a licensed Pharmacy Technician at a community retail pharmacy serving approximately 30 prescriptions daily. This contract opportunity offers 24-30 hours per week, primarily Wednesday through Friday, during regular weekday hours with no weekend shifts required.

Francesville, IN Schedule:
24-30 hours per week Preferably Wednesday through Friday Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, 10 am to 6 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform order entry using PioneerRx system (preferred experience) Fill prescriptions and verify accuracy of medication orders Ring up customers and provide excellent customer service Assist with pharmacy automation using Eyecon Medication Counting Device (preferred experience) May cover shifts at sister facility upon training, if needed Participate in 3-day required training/orientation before starting
Qualifications:
Indiana state Pharmacy Technician license required Certification through PTCB required Previous retail pharmacy technician experience mandatory Familiarity with PioneerRx system and Eyecon automation device a plus Strong attention to detail and communication skills Local candidates preferred due to required onsite training and coverage This contract role offers the chance to support a smaller pharmacy staff with two technicians and pharmacist verification via remote entry, providing a collaborative environment. Training and orientation are provided to ensure smooth onboarding.
