UnitedRx serves the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care facilities and their patients Job Description This position is distinguished from a fill technician position by its focus on entering orders into our pharmacy information system and conducting customer service phone calls. The Data Entry Tech will ensure that medication orders received from our nursing homes customers are entered promptly and accurately into Framework LTC software. Shift and Hours 7 days on/ 7 days off shift 8a-8p shift Schedule runs Mon-Sun Holidays as needed Overtime as needed Essential Duties & Responsibilities Input orders in a timely and accurate manner using Framework Order Entry system - order Entry for new/refill medications Respond to customer inquiries as necessary Verify all information is complete on the prescription Sort prescription orders to appropriate departments/areas Communicate with facilities to alert them to any issues during the data entry process Update the patient profile with all the necessary information from the prescription. Ensuring that patient's allergies, therapies, and current medication are updated Assist with finding lost or missed orders on request Answer inbound facility phone calls Other duties as assigned
