Compensation:
Up to a maximum of $42,000.00 annually.

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Employee assists in the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy. Primary duties include maintaining pharmacy inventory, packaging of unit dose medication and replenishing/auditing stock in automated dispensing units. Level II technicians are also qualified to oversee Tech Check Tech procedures as well as assist with medication reconciliation.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Maintain medication inventory in central pharmacy and automated dispensing units
Labeling and packaging of unit dose medications and discharge prescription orders
Assist nursing/admissions staff with medication reconciliation process
Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to ensuring the agency is adequately staffed during and immediately following natural and/or manmade disasters, infectious disease outbreaks, and/or acts of terrorism. Assists other employees in the work unit in accomplishing assignments as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Active Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
Unrestricted Driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (Hospital or Retail) or equivalent
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
The incumbent must be granted security clearance from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Must take and pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
