Accurately prepare and distribute patient medications Perform calculations Prepare non-sterile medicines including compounds Collect accurate patient information Process third party billing claims and assist with prior authorization completion Work directly with patients to obtain medication histories and reconciliation Use technology to help maintain accurate patient records, medication inventory, and orders Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Answer phone calls and assist patients and caregivers with requested information This position is primarily long-term care and will involve operating the automated dispensing machine, however there will be times when filling retail and compounded prescriptions may be required. In addition, assistance with delivery may be requested and a company vehicle will be provided. Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. This position is for five days per week.
