DAY TO DAY AS A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
As a new Pharmacy Technician at Minden Medical Center, you will be responsible for interpreting and processing medication orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Your daily tasks will include preparing and dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory levels, and conducting quality checks to maintain safety in medication administration. You will engage with patients and healthcare professionals, providing essential medication information and addressing inquiries. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized workspace, assist with administrative tasks, and help train new staff as you gain experience. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy toward patients, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You will also stay updated on pharmacy regulations and participate in ongoing educational opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
WHAT MATTERS MOST

A current Louisiana Pharmacy Technician Licensure is required to ensure compliance with state regulations.
