Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for an overnight shift in a long-term care and mail order environment. This role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement for a 13-week period, working a consistent schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off (8:30 PM to 5:00 AM), specifically covering Wednesday through Thursday overnight shifts. This position requires a motivated individual prepared to contribute to a dynamic and patient-focused pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescription orders. Support pharmacy operations in a mail order and long-term care environment. Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. Assist pharmacists in daily tasks to ensure efficient workflows. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking medications as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Massachusetts pharmacy technician license is required. Pharmacy technician license held in any other jurisdictions is advantageous. Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience is a plus. National certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled.
