13 Weeks Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately, including sterile IV admixture procedures and compounding medications following aseptic techniques. Manage medication inventory, perform data entry into pharmacy software systems, and ensure proper storage and labeling of pharmaceuticals. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, verifying prescriptions, and offering medication counseling in accordance with patient care protocols. Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including state and federal pharmacy laws and drug regulation standards. Support clinical pharmacy activities such as medication reconciliation, pharmacological medical terminology application, and medication administration documentation. Perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct dosages and prepare sterile IV infusions with precision. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times while managing intake procedures and handling sensitive medical information. Assist in hospital or community pharmacy settings by supporting acute care or outpatient services as needed. Ensure accurate data entry for prescriptions, insurance claims, and patient records while maintaining high levels of customer service. Follow proper aseptic techniques for sterile compounding and sterile IV admixture procedures to ensure patient safety. Support pharmacy operations by complying with all relevant healthcare regulations, including drug regulation standards.

Pay:

$1,200.95
