Job Overview The Production Technician will be responsible for packaging and barcoding unit-dose medications in a production environment. The role involves operating packaging equipment, repackaging oral solid medications into unit-dose formats, filling cups and syringes, and maintaining production equipment. Responsibilities Perform unit-dose medication packaging and complete daily production orders. Keep the workstation stocked with necessary supplies. Perform daily preventive maintenance on packaging equipment. Make equipment adjustments and perform basic troubleshooting. Generate accurate packaging labels according to specifications and verification procedures. Follow SOPs and comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and applicable regulatory standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in packaging or a related field is preferred. Packaging or manufacturing experience is a plus, particularly in pharmaceutical or healthcare environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict regulatory standards. Ability to operate packaging equipment and perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting.
