Job Description
Assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering medications accurately and efficiently Maintain inventory systems including Pyxis stock and CII Safe Repackage medications and support unit dose systems Perform monthly medication checks to ensure quality and compliance Clean and disinfect the pharmacy clean room per established protocols Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, Maryland Board of Pharmacy, USP 795/800) Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives High School Diploma or GED (required) Previous pharmacy technician experience (preferred) Registered Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technician (required) National Certification (preferred) Must obtain Maryland license within 30 days if licensed in another state Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong understanding of medical terminology Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
