Description Maine Medical Center Professional - Clinical Req #: 92315 For a limited time, Maine Medical Center is offering up to $3,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians! o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Summary:
Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician - Acute Care Inpatient role performs a variety of duties relating to medication preparation, storage, distribution, disposition, and related clerical tasks. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1.
Education:
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Associate degree preferred. 2.
License/Certifications:
Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. CPhT or PTCB certificate preferred. 3.
Experience:
Experience as a pharmacy technician or other healthcare related position preferred.
