Hannaford actively seeks out farmers and producers to join our Local program which celebrates not only local foods, but the preservation of farmland, local traditions and local jobs. The connection we have to the source of our fresh foods is core to the way we do business, becoming the first major supermarket in the United States to document that all its seafood products were sustainably harvested.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assist stores in ensuring customers receive all their prescriptions in a timely manner. 2. Maintain pharmacy records as required in accordance with Standard Practice and by law. 3. Follow and adhere to attendance and paid time off policies. 4. Understand and adhere to state specific and federal laws and regulations. 5. Share in responsibility for department maintenance and cleanliness by maintaining the quality of department's appearance and presentation. 6. Maintain and assist with ordering pharmacy department supplies (e.g., bags, labels, staples, etc.). 7. Observe, adhere, and understand all company policies and Company Standard Practices. 8. Always maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and comply with company personal appearance and dress code policies. 9. Support company safety standards. Communicate any need for equipment repairs, ormaintenance work needed. Keep work area free of debris and safety hazards. 10. Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect. 11. Perform all other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing asrequired.
- Obtain and maintain current state license as required.
- Excellent communication skills and effective time management skills.
- Strong keyboard skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated in a stressful environment with minimal supervision.
- Effective interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Open schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Promote and participate in initiatives to grow the pharmacy business as required.
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states as required.
