Job DescriptionReady to dive into the exciting world of pharmacy? As a Pharmacy Intern at Henry Ford Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy, you'll be at the heart of the action! You'll get hands-on experience in all aspects of our drug distribution system while collaborating with our talented pharmacist team to deliver top-notch clinical services to patients in your assigned area. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist (as required by Michigan law), you'll gain real-world experience that'll set you up for success in your pharmacy career.

Actively participate in the full spectrum of drug distribution operations and get comfortable with our pharmacy systemsPartner with experienced pharmacists to provide clinical pharmacy services and support patient care initiativesAssist with medication dispensing, verification, and quality assurance processesContribute to a collaborative healthcare team environment while learning best practices in inpatient pharmacySupport pharmacists in clinical decision-making and patient counseling opportunitiesHelp maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsGain valuable exposure to diverse pharmacy operations and build your professional networkQualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must be enrolled or a graduate from a school or college of Pharmacy. Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
