Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our pharmacists and pricing experts to support prescription processing, inventory management, and patient communication. Because we dedicate our front-facing hours (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) to direct, uninterrupted patient care and reserve behind-the-scenes workflow for other blocks, you will play a key role in keeping our operations smooth, accurate, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist in accurately filling and preparing prescriptions. Navigate insurance and pricing options to ensure the best value for our patients. Answer incoming patient phone calls, manage refill requests, and provide top-tier customer service both in-store and over the phone. Support backend pharmacy workflows, inventory organization, and stock management. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dispensary environment adhering to all state and federal regulations. Coordinate with our delivery team to ensure seamless home-delivery preparation when necessary. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license (or active registration in good standing). Previous retail or independent pharmacy experience is preferred (familiarity with modern pharmacy management software is a strong plus). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—must genuinely enjoy interacting with people and providing a warm, welcoming environment. High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking abilities. Punctual, dependable, and a true team player.
